Essay Reflection
The House on Mango Street essay was not as easy as it first seemed although i did alot of the work in class and had help from my teacher. My thesis was that you cannot help where you come from as long as you believe in the power of your dreams. My class did numerous revisions but i did not really take them very seriously and i did not make alot of the changes. The essay that i wrote was very scripted because we had alot of guidelines and i though that it sounded repetitive in that i would say the same thing over and over again. I do not recall exacty what i got but i think that for my first high school essay it was pretty good. Next time i hope to take this more seriously and put alot more effort into it.
