HELLO THIS IS MY MATH PROJECTS PAGE
This was in the beginning of the year and a lot of the topic were things that i had already learned in eighth grade so it was pretty easy to do the ten topics that i had to do every week.
this is the pie from January and as you can see there is a lot of improvement from December and November. Many of the sections are a lot larger and filled up more. Data Analysis still seems to be my strongest point although i have finished filling up the Arithmetic readiness section of the pie. I am still struggling in the section of quadratic equations which is strange because our class has just finished a large unit on that subject and i felt very strong about that topic.
This is my most recent ALEKS pie chart image(4/20/11). As you can plainly see i have been doing a lot of topics, i jumped from 148-211. I am really starting to comprehend the topics easier because i am spending more time on them and taking my time doing them. I hope that i can get all of my topics done before the end of the year, and move on to geometry. I am doing very well in factoring of, Binomials, Trinomials, and Polynomials. I am struggling with exponents and square roots.
This is a quiz on simple factoring that i took a week or so ago. There is some room for improvement in my Factoring skills, and i have not been going to tutoring but my class mates help me out when i am stuck or don't understand how to do a problem.

This work sheet is on quadratic equations. It is a fairly new concept for me but so far it is not as hard as i thought it would be. Quadratic equations are used when you cant factor out an equation.

Quadratic Formula Worksheet
this was a quadratic worksheet that i did. you may notice that some of the problems have no answers and this is because i did not know how to solve these problems. Not to say i did not try to solve them, i did but none of the answers seemed right to me so i left some of the work there to show that i had tried to solve them.
